Tenant Notice

Inactivation Notice

As of the first of next month, we will no longer managing the property you have been renting from us.  This is no reflection on you as a tenant. You are legally allowed to remain through the end of your lease term and possibly longer if the property owner offers a renewal. If things don't workout, you're welcome to rent one of our other properties in the future.

How this works

We have a system to make transferring the responsibility of property management the property owner to as simple as possible:

  • If you haven't already, pay rent and all charges up to the end of this month.

  • Download a copy of your lease agreement or in appfolio. It can be found in the Property Details tab. If you don't do this by the time we complete this process, you can get a copy from the property owner.

  • The property owner will contact you to explain how to pay rent, request maintenance, answer questions, etc.

  • We will cancel all open work orders.  You'll want to ask the owner to repair anything that hasn't been repaired yet.

  • We will provide them the code to the lockbox on the property & a copy of your lease agreement.

  • We will transfer the security deposit you have paid so far to the owner, less any unpaid fees & expenses. A complete itemization can be found on your account ledger in appfolio.

  • We will deactivate online payments in appfolio, so you don't accidentally pay next months’ rent.

  • Lastly, once the process is ccomplete, we will publish a final accounting letter in the documents tab in appfolio.

  • Please download anything you need before the end of the following month as the sistem will inactvate your login to appfolio.

Please feel free to apply for any of our homes in the future. We look forward to working with you again.

Thank you,
